The Heartsaver CPR & AED for Adult, Child and Infant course is for those needing a certification for CPR but are not professional rescuers. It helps students recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies.
Participants learn how to:
- Properly perform CPR
- Recognize emergencies, strokes and heart attacks
- Recognize and care for choking
- Use of barrier devices
- Help in preventing transmission or infection diseases
- Introduction to the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
Upon successful completion of this course, participants received a certification, valid for 2 years.
Please note: This course is NOT appropriate for students who need certification in a healthcare-level CPR class.
Student will need note-taking materials.
