Basic Low Light Shooting

This course is designed to teach students how to choose and effectively use a flashlight or weapon-mounted light to safetly protect themselves in a low light scenario.

The three-hour course consists of:

  • 4 Universal Safety Rules
  • Fundamentals of Marksmanship
  • Choosing a Flashlight or Weapon-Mounted Light
  • Light Theory
  • Flashlight Techniques
  • Target Identification
  • Range Drills

It is recommended that students bring their own firearm and ammunition.  Students will also need note-taking materials, clothing appropriate for the weather and indoor range (No tank tops or open toe shoes).  Targets, eye and ear protection are provided.
